**About The Role**

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects
- Conduct research to identify potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and negotiating contracts and agreements
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to determine procurement needs, specifications, and delivery schedules
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and resolving any issues or disputes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including supplier information, prices, and delivery times
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing best practices and sustainable procurement initiatives
**Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, management, finance or a related field
- Min 4 years experience working as a procurement, purchasing or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, regulations, and industry trends
- Experience in construction or building material distributor is preferred
- Understanding market trends, pricing dynamics and supplier landscape is crucial
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical specifications and procurement documentation
- Proficient in using procurement software and systems
