Job Description

Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives
Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and competitive pricing
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and performance metrics
Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to optimize procurement spend
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and financial risks
Supplier Performance Evaluation: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Procurement Systems and Processes: Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, including supplier on-boarding, order placement, and invoice processing, and find opportunities for process efficiencies
Team Management: Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
Broad knowledge of products and services commonly used in the financial and/or information technology sector
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing effectively
