**Responsibilities**
Product Category Manager is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
- Build annual marketing plan for driving profitable share growth metal profile products and considering market trends, competitor analyses.
- Ensure the "5Ps" (Product/Price/Promotion/Place/People) of marketing are well defined for metal profile with differentiated value proposition(s) for each customer profile i.e distributor, W/S, Architect, Main Contractor, etc. Work closely with Sales team (both Retail and Project) and other relate departments to execute product features, test and go to market strategy.
- Manage the product life cycle by category from strategic planning to tactical action plans to optimize and extend the profitability of metal products, including new products and systems. Work closely with Sales Manufacturing & Supply Chain, frequent market and customer visits.
- Collaboration with Regional R&D, Plant, Product category to create detailed technical requirements including system architecture, training, and data, which ensure that risk is managed, product & system quality deployment and field support is achievable whilst allowing for innovation.
- Help develop and liase with Training team to provide USP metal products and sales tools for sales team and customers.
- Liase, contribute & learn from counterparts across KNAUF APAC network.
- Support and challenge sales on cross-selling/bundling/upselling opportunities within the product and systems portfolio.
**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 4 years of product management experience (metal profile business is preferable).
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Technical / Engineering (Metal) or a related field.
- Fluency in Indonesian language and proficient English
- Excellent in Microsoft Office tools (Power point, Excel) & comfortable working with data analyses & reporting.
- Familiarity with content sourcing, product evaluation, and negotiation strategies.
- Strong knowledge in metal business industry, project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle ambiguity, and work independently.
