To support and cooperate with Product Sales team and Mill Sales team on product technical selling and advice to drive sales volume, sales channel and technical support in Indonesia and Malaysia or assigned by superior. This include supporting supply chain and other functions on cross functional works.
Areas of responsibilities
- Handle inquiries of Pulp & Paper, MDF and Power machinery spare parts which include the following tasks:
- Receiving customer and requirements.
- Verifying spare parts identification and specification.
- Finding sources for the needed parts.
- Costing, pricing and making quotations.
- Trouble shooting and analysis for the spare parts related area.
- Maintain/develop/keep updated technical knowledge of the spare parts.
- Provide technical support, product information and data analysis for team members.
- Perform other tasks assigned by manager.
- Support supply chain and other functions on any project or program or global / local initiatives relate to products and theirs development.
- Support customer requirement by superior assignment as needed
- Perform according to Quality, Safety, Environmental and other company's' management system, policies, practices and instructions.
Basic requireents of the position
- Bachelor of Engineering or related fields.
- 3-5 years experiences in technical product engineering and spare parts (performance parts) supporting sales or customer in relation to pulp & paper business or similar.
- Knowledge in engineering technics and interpretation to customer understanding.
- Familiar with Indonesia, Malaysia.
- Good commercial understanding and customer oriented aligning with business direction.
- Computer literate and good at presentation / communications and decent when appearing to customer's face.
- Good command of English.
- Willing to learn and expose new assignment and challenge
- Good cooperation and can-do attitude, positive attitude and good human relationship.
