Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic product roadmap for our Global Distribution System (GDS) product suite, aligning with the needs of our clients in the travel and hospitality industry.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, technology, and client services teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the GDS landscape, and use insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
- Define product features, functionality, and user experience enhancements based on client feedback, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with engineering and development teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess product performance, track client satisfaction levels, and identify areas for improvement.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key GDS providers, technology partners, and industry associations to stay abreast of market developments and foster collaboration opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a focus on Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or related travel technology solutions.
- Solid understanding of GDS platforms, including Sabre, Amadeus, and Travelport, and their role within the travel and hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of driving product innovation, launching successful products or features, and achieving business results in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and drive product improvements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize competing demands, and drive consensus in decision-making processes.
