Manulife Indonesia Product Risk and Control Lead will act as First Line of Defense for operational risk related to product and pricing processes. The individual supports Manulife Indonesia's proposition delivery and business growth by ensuring the risk and controls framework are designed effectively and aligned to company risk management standards, properly executed, and continuously improved. They will champion best practices for high quality deployment to minimize implementation errors and ensure positive experience for customers and sales force.

**We are looking for someone with**:
- A minimum of Bachelors Degree in Financial, Business or related field of study
- Minimum 7 years experience in Product, Risk, IT, Operations or related functions in the Life Insurance industry
- Demonstrated risk awareness and critical thinking ability to optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization
- Ability to make sound decisions in complex situations to achieve a balance across various factors
- Excellent organization skills to manage multiple initiatives and responsibilities in parallel

**On the job you will**:
Adopt a hands-on approach to understand, socialize and manage integration of risk and controls framework within the Product and Inforce Management team, especially the areas of Proposition Delivery and Pricing.
Help to identify risk areas and work collaboratively with process owners to find appropriate mitigations.
Drive the deployment of Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) on control design and operating effectiveness.
On ad-hoc basis, conduct control testing activities to validate the self assessment.
Report and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) related to Product Mgt. risk, develop action plan and glide-path for any amber/red risks.
Report operational losses / incidents that are originated from the Product launch / deployment stage and conduct a thorough root cause analysis with its action plans to prevent the incident from repeating.
Drive preparation before key process audits, assist during the audit process, and drive the activities in reporting stage (review audit report, corrective action plans)
Ensure corrective action plans resulting from audits or other risk management activities are followed through timely.
Take initiative to provide suggestions for process improvements that align with best risk management practices.
Conduct periodic reviews of all process flows in proposition delivery and pricing to ensure that they remain aligned with Manulife company standards and regulatory requirements.
Drive risk and controls awareness of the team, including conducting training and communication to help team members understand the risks and their responsibility in preventing adverse events.
Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders including process owners in Product and Inforce Management team, local Risk Management, Risk & Control functions in Distribution and Operations, and Int
