Job description:
- Oversee production/plant operation, execution of production plan and resource management.
- Plan and optimize resources to achieve required quality, efficiency and delivery.
- Coordinate closely with PPIC, Sales/Marketing and Technical Department to optimize machine and manpower utilization.
- Ensure seamless model/mold changeover with advance preparation of manpower, equipment, SOP, etc.
- Development of hot stamping plate/foil and silkscreen stencil/ink for new products based on customers' requirements.
- Establish and control secondary process work method/parameters, such as hot stamping, silkscreen, rubber stud/metal bar assembly, etc.
- Carry out continuous improvement activities to increase productivity and reduce rejects, wastage and downtime in accordance with KPIs Ensure precise control of material usage, timely recycle and reuse activities and control of AMR.
- Support QA Dept in addressing customer complaint on production related matters with effective countermeasure.Lead a team of Technical, Tooling & Maintenance personnel to resolve any technical issues.
- Cultivate good working culture, employee performance assessment and identify training needs of plant personnel.
- Develop and maintain employee skill matrix chart to identify weakness and ensure continuous employee skill upgrading
- Provide motivation and resolve employee issues promptly.
- Conduct performance appraisal of subordinates with reference to KPI set.Implementation of new standard and procedures, and customer's specific requirements.
- Compliant with workplace regulatory, safety/OSHA procedures, 5S, ISO program, etc.
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
- Min. 8 years working experience in manufacturing preferably in Injection Moulding.
- Must possess good computer skills and hands-on experience in ERP system.
- Able to communicate well at all level and possess good leadership quality
- Independent, good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO14001 & 5S management.
