WFD is looking for an experienced Programme Assistant based in Jakarta, Indonesia to support the implementation of programmes.
Location : Jakarta, Indonesia with the option for remote working from anywhere in Jakarta. This role will require occasional travel to HQ in Jakarta to fulfil operational requirements.
Occasional in-country travel to support programme implementation and activities is required for the position. Contract Details : Contract of Service Fixed Term from July 2024 – March 2025. (with extension possible). Full Time. Benefits : 4 wellbeing days per calendar year [pro-rata for part-time staff], plus annual leave and public holidays entitlement.

The Programme Assistant, Indonesia is part of the Indonesian country team which sits under the Asia and Americas regional team within WFD's Policy and Programmes Directorate.
The Programme Assistant, Indonesia will support the smooth-running of WFD's office in Indonesia including the day-to-day delivery of activities. Reporting to the Country Representative, Indonesia, the Programme Assistant will support the full programme cycle from start-up to closure. They will be involved in a variety of administrative and operational tasks including procurement, financial administration, logistics, travel and event management, information management, and systems and processes support. • At least 1 year of experience in similar positions, preferably in non-government/civil society institutions. Experience in finance/administrative roles is a plus.

• Experience working to a high degree of accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary, cross-country teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and effectively manage own workloads.
• Professional fluency in oral and written English and Indonesian.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 suite products e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Dynamics, etc.
• Availability to travel as required to support programme delivery.
• Educated to degree level or qualification, preferably in fields related to finance, accounting, business administration, and/or management This is a locally based field role; applicants must be eligible to work in Indonesia.
