**Responsibilities for Project Manager**
1. Determine and outline the scope and objectives of the project through a proper Work Breakdown structure.
- 2. Outlining a budget based on needs and tracking expenditures to ensure project completion on time.
- 3. Determining resource requirements and managing resource availability and allocation - both within and externally.
- 4. Creating a detailed project plan to schedule major project milestones, workstreams, and activities.
- 5. Execute the Project's work packages based on the detailed design, schedule and documents as specified in contract.
- 6. Ensuring economic success and customer satisfaction for identified packages.
- 7. Collaborate with other departments like Engineering, Finance, SCM & Logistics for successful project execution
- 8. Ensuring compliance with defined procedures/processes for project controlling and reporting at global and local levels
- 9. Manage vendor and supplier contracts by assigning duties and communicating expected deliverables.
- 11. Evaluate project performance to find opportunities for Gross Margin improvement.
- 12. Oversee all phases of a project from inception to completion.
- 13. Accountable for the allocated project(s)' cost, timeline, quality, and technical performance.
- 14. Effectively and clearly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- 15. Provide team, management with regular updates on work completed, plans, budget, strategy, adjustments and overall progress.
- 16. Identify project challenges and find remedies, such as resource allocation or altering contractual specifications.
- 17. Manage client expectations throughout the project cycle and lead projects including single and multi-product medium voltage solutions.
- 18. Proactive contract and claim management & Risk Management.
- 19. Conduct FAT with customer and close punch points with support of QC.
- 20. Managing the client's and other stakeholders' relationships and communication to ensure the project is completed to their satisfaction.
- 21. Conducting Lessons Learned workshop in periodic intervals and successful conclusion of the project.
- 22. Comply with the Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. occupational health and safety and environmental protection)
**Qualifications for Project Manager**
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2. 5-8 years of project management and related experience
- 3. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- 4. Strong Scheduling skills with experience in MS-Project.
- 5. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- 6. Strong technical background about Switchgears (MV,LV, SCADA etc)
- 7. Excellent analytical skills
- 8. Strong Contract and claim management skills.
- 9. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- 10. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
