**Responsibilities**:
- Gather user requirements from customers, support and project teams and assess requirements.- Document design specifications for discussion with the Delivery Manager.- Communicate approved design to implementation team members.- Provide guidance and clarification, where required, to development and project delivery teams throughout development and implementation cycles/stages.- Provide feedback and recommendation on product roadmap items.- Collaborate with Project Team to ensure delivery team's adherence to quality procedures as well as supervising, directing and motivating team.- Provide input for documentation and involvement in documentation review- Conduct code reviews and policing code quality- Assist in the development and evolution of Product infrastructure and processes- Ensure delivery of all tasks within budgeted timeframes and costs.- Assist in any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- At least 6 years working experience using Java.- Proven skills in the implementation of significant Java-based product development.- A rigorous and thorough approach to quality.-
- At least 3 years working experience in a payments systems environment, or from a strong background working with concurrency.
