Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia's development cooperation program with Indonesia and has enjoyed strong support from both governments for more than sixty years. Australia Awards addresses two key challenges: to fill a gap in the pool of individuals with the higher-level capacity to contribute to Indonesia's development; and the need for a strong deep relationship based on mutual understanding between Australia and Indonesia.**Key responsibilities**- Deliver an effective and inclusive public diplomacy and communications approach through increased coordination and ongoing adjustments to align to strategic and policy direction- Foster linkages and expand networks of influence through considered strategic engagement across the scholar and alumni experience lifecycle- Review, rebuild, and enhance communications approaches and brand identity to attract interest, boost appeal and nurture positive perceptions- Manage stakeholders to ensure that their expectations and inputs are in line with the AAI objectives- Review and enhance efforts to improve new alumni participation in registering and updating their contact details to be recorded in the alumni database- Other duties as required related to the scope of the role**Selection criteria**- Postgraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, international relations, or a related field- Minimum of 10 years' experience working in strategic communications, network building, marketing, or advertising in Indonesia.- Experience in scoping, designing, budgeting, implementing, managing risk, and evaluating innovation and program activities within organisations- Understanding of how to build and foster active networks using the most contemporary tools and platforms- Demonstrated knowledge of the Government of Indonesia's development policies, priorities, and machinery of government- Knowledge of the Government of Australia machinery of government and how it is represented through the Australian Embassy in Jakarta is desirableFor a complete position description, please click here.**How to apply**Please submit:- Resume- Statement of suitability (not to exceed two pages), demonstrating how your qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and personal attributes align with the selection criteria**Why Tetra Tech International Development?**As a leading development consulting firm, Tetra Tech International Development works with people and communities to solve some of the world's most complex challenges to achieve a positive impact.Working at Tetra Tech International Development means working within a values-led organisation that invests in flexible work environments built on trust, safety and well-being.
