**PRIMARY OBJECTIVES**:
To actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true to and be responsible for editorial content for internal and external publications and marketing collateral to help drive various company KPIs in Asia & Pacific Rim. The Public Relations & Communications Manager will assist in writing content that best reflects the company and its vacation clubs - Club Wyndham South Pacific, Club Wyndham Asia, and Accor Vacation Club, along with managed hotels and resorts across Asia & Pacific Rim. Brands represented include (but are not limited to): Club Wyndham, Wyndham Grand, Wyndham Garden, Ramada and Accor Vacation Club.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:_(Include but not limited to:)_**
- Develop long and short-term public relations and communications plans and strategies for the Asia region
- Prepare media releases and distribute
- Arranging and hosting media famils
- Provide hotels/resorts with press kits
- Support managed resorts with promotions/deals by way of media coverage
- Monitor and review the success of public relations initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
- Generate PR to build brand awareness across the Asia region
- Organising media interviews for key leadership eg. President & MD, and executive team members
- Produce speech notes for conferences and resort openings
- Copywriting, editing and proofreading of corporate material, including direct mail, web, print, radio and video
- Assist in preparing internal and external communications
- Develop and create engaging social media content for both customer and public facing social media platforms
- Manage the day-to-day handling of social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, adapting content to suit different channels
- Assist in producing collateral for Asia & Pacific Rim resorts
- Produce award nominations
- Assist with website content maintenance, preparing scripts for customer servicing staff
- Ensure that all reasonable directions given with regards to health and safety are followed, to not willfully place at risk the health and safety of yourself or any person in the workplace and to not willfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health and safety

**KEY POSITION CRITERIA**:
- Tertiary qualifications in journalism, creative writing or communications with a minimum of 4 years' experience
- Possess an extensive media contact/distribution list for Asia
- Have existing working relationships with a range of media in the Asia regions
- Preferably have a working relationship with airlines re. famils
- Experience in a similar role in preparing copy for publications, marketing and advertising collateral.
- Positive 'can do' attitude combined with customer service outlook
- Must be a good problem solver and a loyal team player
- Attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy is essential
- Medium-level computer skills in Macintosh (e.g. Acrobat, InDesign) and high-level skills in Microsoft
