Purchasing Manager

**Job Descriptions**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with a network of suppliers, ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality ingredients and products
- Source and negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
- Analyze market trends and stay updated on industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions
- Manage inventory levels, monitor stock availability, and implement effective inventory control measures
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to understand their ingredient requirements and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct regular quality assessments of suppliers and products, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications
- Monitor and optimize purchasing processes, implementing efficient systems for order placement, tracking, and delivery
- Stay informed about food safety regulations and certifications, ensuring compliance throughout the supply chain
- Coordinate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to align purchasing activities with business objectives
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and pricing information for financial reporting purposes

**Requirements**:

- Proven 3-4 years of experience in the culinary or F&B industry, specifically in purchasing or procurement
- In-depth knowledge of ingredient sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing best practices
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities to manage inventory and optimize purchasing processes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, certifications, and quality control standards
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and systems
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred
