**Key Responsibilities**:
- Day to day running the testing of Raw Materials and Finished Goods in the QC Flavours Laboratory, by performing basic sensory and analytical tests to ensure the product's compliance with regulations and specifications.
- Perform a variety of analytical testing with various analytical instruments such as GC-FID, GC-MS, FTIR, Autotitrator, Spectrophotometer UV-Vis, Colorimeter, etc.
- Perform sensory assessments including organoleptic test (flavor, odor, taste) and visual determination (color and appearance) and participate in the sensory training program.
- Supplying technical services to customers such as Certificate of Analysis and other related documents.
- Assist in the investigation of internal or external rejections to analyse the root cause and develop corrective & preventive actions and addressing all quality related complaints in timely manner.
- Operate SAP system to manage all quality data maintenance and products release.
- Ensure all instruments are properly maintained and calibrated according to the master list calibration schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of inside the lab facility according to the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Assist in the development of quality management system such as SOP development and audit preparations.
- Ensure all retained samples are identified and properly maintained in correct storage condition.
- Independently pursue an assigned series of processes, procedures, or techniques in accordance with Kerry standard, FSSC 22000 and customer requirements
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Essential Skills:
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Computer literacy such as Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of chemical substance including hazardous material or dangerous goods.
- Basic sensory evaluation capability (able to differentiate basic taste and odor)
- Not colour-blind
- Basic knowledge in Good Laboratory Practice.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in flavour house industry is an advantage
- Great knowledge and skill in GC-FID, GC-MS
- Familiar with SAP system
