We are currently looking for QC Analyst that will be responsible for ensuring QC testing of raw material samples are performed to GMP and company standards. This involves analyzing samples, recording, evaluating and reporting data using valid procedures with limited or no supervision. Other duties may be assigned on discretionary basis as required by new developments or changes the role.
This is a contract position for 6 months.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct chemical and physical testing for raw material samples effectively and efficiently in compliance to valid protocol or analytical method and record the results in laboratory report or other defined form, as per stability testing plan prepared by QC Lead.
- Immediately report any OOS results and deviations during the analysis in QC Lab to QC Lead.
- Actively participate in investigation of OOS, deviation and any non-conformance as per assigned.
- Record, store, inspect and destroy raw material samples.
- Control the preparation, use, storage and expiration date of the reagent and reference standard used in the testing process and ensure it is used in accordance with a valid procedure.
- Record the use of reagent and reference standard and notify to Responsible Person, if any reagent or reference standard is out of stock or expired.
- Check the date of calibration of instrument in the QC Laboratory before use, record its use and report to QC Lead if any nonconformance is found.
- Ensure Good Documentation Practice and data integrity is always shown on all GxP activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness of glassware and other instruments and work areas in the QC laboratory.
- Maintain work safety and working environment in accordance with EHS standards.
- Ensure flexibility for change assignment or replacement as per appropriate multi-skills qualification.
- Comply and demonstrate aspects of EHS to daily work.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes, laboratory activities and basic quality system.
- Good knowledge of analytical/ inspection techniques, precision and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of cGMPs and local regulatory requirements especially in good laboratory practices and good documentation practices.
- Skillful to operate laboratory instrument related with the work assignment.
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting analytical problems.
- Able to use MS office and internet.
- Able to have basic communication in English both verbal and written.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Result oriented, good reporting skill, strong analytical and numerical skills.
Preferred
- Vocational school for Chemical Analyst or associated science
- Minimum 1 year in pharmaceutical or associated industry
