**Your Focus**
In this role, your responsibility is to supervise the QA team, ensuring that the workload is divided fairly based on the competencies of the individuals. Support the team by actively participating in day-to-day tasks. Ensure that performance is monitored and meets expectations. Additionally, ensure customer satisfaction, including sales and operations, regarding quality performance in all areas that fall within the scope of fulfilling standards within IFF guidelines and other regulations. This position is based in Karawang, Indonesia, and will report to the Quality Manager.

- Ensure that all products or services meet the established quality standards and specifications.
- Plan and conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Continuously assess and improve quality control processes, procedures, and practices.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
- Investigate and address customer complaints and non-conformities in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including reports, documentation, and corrective action plans.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on quality performance and areas of concern to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and support process improvement initiatives.
**Job Requirements**:
**What will you need to be successful**
- Minimum - bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering), Pharmacy, Food Technology, or any relevant major
- Strong verbal and technical writing experience in English
- Proven experience in quality assurance with at least 3 years of experience, including 2 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and relevant industry standards (e.g., GFSI, ISO 9001, GMP, Halal, etc)
- Must act proactively in addressing internal and external customer's needs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining IFF quality standards.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Strong negotiation and priority setting skills.
- Experience with SAP System and Microsoft Office.
