**Key Job Accountabilities**:
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the group. Your main focus will be on developing bulk manufacturing processes for new product launches. Your role will involve working closely with various stakeholders and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a liaison between quality, production, Pilot, R&I, and the manufacturing supply chain during new product launches.
- Providing technical consultation to assist in bulk processing problem-solving.
- Lead and conduct study - analysis with all risk assessment for continuous quality improvement.
- Carrying out and executing improvement projects to improve factory performance.
- Assisting the plant in identifying preventative actions for bulk processing.
- Assisting the Quality Management Engineer in analyzing bulk and finished goods waivers.
- Coordinating and overseeing process optimization projects.
- Developing and conducting training programs within your area of responsibility.
- Managing sampling programs for first production approvals.
- Overseeing investigations of rejected batches, validation activities, and the development of bulk manufacturing processes for new product launches.
- Overseeing control testing of bulk and finished goods for all first production batches.
- Providing bulk Right the First Time (RTFT) data to industrial quality management.
- Supporting and enforcing the Plant Safety, Environment, and Health Program.
**Required Qualifications**:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field, preferably apothecary, engineering, chemical engineering, or chemistry.
- 7+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong management and supervisory skills.
- General knowledge of the plant's quality system.
- Knowledge and understanding of quality control processes, material release, nonconformance, preventative maintenance action, document and data control, and calibration processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines within the cosmetic industry is crucial. You should have a thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant regulations to ensure compliance throughout the R&I process.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
