About The Role Region Sales Senior Manager drives regional sales performance by leading Region Sales Support Managers, Region Merchant Development Managers, and Area Sales Managers. This role develops and executes strategies aligned with market dynamics, addresses operational challenges, ensures compliance, and fosters collaboration to enhance team capabilities and performance. This role ensures operational excellence, revenue growth, and alignment with organizational goals while building a high-performing team and driving sustainable success through leadership development and succession planning.
\n What You Will DoManage and provide strategic direction to Region Sales Support Managers, Region Merchant Development Managers, and Area Sales Managers to achieve regional goals and operational excellenceDevelop and oversee the execution of regional sales strategies, aligning with market dynamics, competitive activities, and company objectivesLead problem-solving sessions to identify and address regional challenges, ensuring effective implementation of solutions and improvements in processes and operationsMonitor and analyze regional dashboards and sales metrics to provide actionable insights, ensuring data-driven decision-making across teamsEnsure compliance with company policies and SOPs, effectively cascading and implementing processes set by Sales HQ through area teamsFoster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales Learning & Development, to enhance the working methods and capabilities of the respective regional sales teamDevelop succession plans and nurture leadership within the respective regional sales team to ensure sustainable team performance and growth What You Will NeedWilling to be based in BandungAt least 7 years of experience in mid-to-senior management roles, preferably in industries such as FMCG, SMB, Banking, Telecom, or similar sectorsIn-depth understanding of regional market dynamics, competitors, and customer needs, with a proven ability to drive sales strategies that align with local trendsStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with significant experience in managing and developing large teams, and a track record of mentoring, coaching, and fostering growth within the teamStrong network within the region, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local and regional business partners, government entities, and communitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both internal and external stakeholders, and fluency in English and Bahasa IndonesiaDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Learning & DevelopmentResilient and adaptable, able to perform well under pressure and in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
\nAbout the Team The Sales HQ team is the main liaison between our merchant-facing team members on the ground and other relevant internal teams in the company, be it the product teams or the strategy teams. The people on the ground rely on our team to create the overall go-to market plan for all merchant segments within Gojek, and for our leadership to give them direction on the sales motion. We are a highly flexible team that holds each individual and teams accountable for their own delivery of KRs and initiatives.
