Read on! _**What you will do as a Regional Legal Counsel Asia Pacific**:As the Regional Legal Counsel of Asia Pacific, you will be the main focal point to provide high-quality legal advice and services in an efficient, value-added, and approachable manner in alignment with business/client priorities. Advise the business on potential developments in the region's laws and regulations that would impact the Royal HaskoningDHV's interests.- Lead on draft, review, and negotiate all types of client services agreements in support of the business operations, advice on legal, approval processes, company policies and procedures, and IP. Some few other key responsibilities:- Identify and address risks and issues in the local daily business operations in a manner consistent with the internal processes- Closely collaborate and partner with internal business stakeholders to identify, address and communicate risks, and mitigate risks while fully appreciating the commercial opportunity presented by the transaction.- Educate and train the internal team throughout the Asia Pacific to ensure that they have the required understanding of, and an ownership interest in, the various risks related to the business.- Work with other members of the legal team in the Asia Pacific and the members of the global legal team and provide support and mentorship to the Legal Counsel based in Jakarta.- Advise business on potential developments in the region's laws and regulations that would impact the Royal HaskoningDHV's interests.- Handle litigation/dispute resolution matters.- Develop and deliver training or direction internally on matters related to sound business practices and corporate governance.Important core activities of the role are the following:**Organizing**:A meticulous planner and executor who works well on his/her/their own and also works well with internal and external clients; can set good priorities and can orchestrate multiple activities at once.**Communication**:Provides information effectively so others can make accurate decisions; able to write clearly and concisely so others understand issues and options; deals comfortably with all levels within the organization.**Education and Experience**:Qualified lawyer/legal counsel with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or in-house with a global operating firm and a minimum of master's degree in Law (LLM) is (MN1) (DAM2) required. Demonstrate familiarity with advising legal issues across a variety of different Asia Pacific jurisdictions (including Australia and Vietnam).
