As Regional Product Line Manager - Crushing, you will be responsible for building and developing the South East Asia and Mongolia market long-term business strategy for Crushers, with a view to increase market share in traditional markets, identify and grow new market opportunities and to significantly grow the revenue base. In addition, this role will focus on continuously improving operational efficiency, and providing technical support to our sales teams.
What you will do:
- Strive for continuous improvements in our 'Safety First' and Quality-focused culture. Grow and develop, engage and motivate a large and diverse team (Sales and Product Support teams) to continually increase customer satisfaction. The clear focus is thorough execution to deliver results.
- Ensure crushing products are supplied to Regional and Site safety standards and the quality of the product is consistently premium and never compromised, whilst ensuring a focus on 'Safety First' at all times;
- Be responsible for new business development by prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
- Meet potential clients for growing, maintaining and leveraging on current client network.
- Work with Sales and proposals teams to develop proposals that address client's needs, concerns and objectives
- Participate in establishing pricing for new products
- Work with Global Product Line Management staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Be responsible for Business Development Planning and attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Using knowledge of the local markets, identify and develop the product offering's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest developments in the Crushing industry, including Digital and Wear Products Solutions and ensure that the FLSmidth offering is cutting edge and competitive.
- Enhance the potential of existing products by championing more effective production processes and provide the end-to-end solutions to implement change.
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM System.
- Forecast sales targets and support the sales team in meeting these targets.
- Provide technical development training to internal sales team to maximize their effectiveness while on site and visiting clients.
What you bring:
- A high level of understanding of Crushing solutions will be essential.
- Good experience within the mineral processing industry in the APAC Region.
- Good experience in technical role with a demonstrable success in growing the business and supporting Key clients.
- Existing strong network of key stakeholders within mineral processing industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and the clear plan to reach those targets.
- Highly developed negotiation skills and demonstrated experience in conducting successful negotiations as the company representative.
