The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
- Design, build, and drive adoption of ads that integrate into Shopee's organic experience and consumer shopping journey
- Analyze and diagnose business problems, identify client pain points and priorities, lead short and long-term business strategy and implementation plans for Shopee Advertising
- Exhibit deep analytical ability and develop great expertise in Ads related proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyze and communicate data and insights to drive creator, seller and advertiser success.
- Define product strategy and roadmap, manage product's lifecycle end-to-end, and work with cross-functional partners for successful development, go-to-market, operation, marketing, and demand-generation efforts
- Passionate about the customer experience and can dig deep, from the big idea down to the details, knowing how to position the team for what's around the corner.
**Requirements**:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Quantitative Majors
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy development or performance advertising (reputable e-commerce/ads platform preferred)
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a fast-changing environment or experience working for a startup
- Ability to speak to technical/business stakeholders and users and interact at all levels of the organization
- Distinctive problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems and identify potential solutions
- Fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
- Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Powerpoint, Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
