Job Summary- Visits independent agents to market the companies´ products and/or services. Develops agency business goals, builds agency relationships, participates in area rate reviews and builds/maintains competitive information. Has limited or no underwriting authority. This position typically has responsibility for multiple national/local areas, and reports to a home office or top field executive.- Job Qualifications- Required:
- Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Sales area- Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities- Prospects and visits agents/brokers and customers with the objectiveof promoting and selling company products and services.
- Collaborates with agents/brokers to obtain necessary underwriting information to provide targeted insurance solutions.
- Works to establish strong professional relationships with agents/brokers and customers to assure profitable sales production, excellent service, repeat sales and referrals for other customer contacts and production.
- Creates and analyzes monthly activity/call reports.
- Recommends changes and successfully integrates company products into distribution network within the region/territory to achieve maximum market penetration and obtain the goals and objectives for business unit.
- Works closely with the regional offices, other Zurich business units and profit centers to develop leads and contacts for business opportunities and cross marketing or product density initiatives. Follows up oncalls and/or quotations that have been made to agents/brokers/customersto answer any questions or to close the sales.
