Our client is seeking for Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager. This job will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.**Responsibilities**:- Compliance- Contribute to business planning and ensure adherence to regulatory standards:- Implement regulatory strategy for product development, overseeing regulatory compliance from conception to launch.- Develop strategies to ensure regulatory compliance for local and international products, managing the regulatory process for products requiring local governmental approval.- Review company practices, provide guidance, and recommend changes to comply with current and emerging regulatory requirements.- Regulation Settings:- Stay informed about food regulations and potential amendments.- License & Permit Management:- Manage product certification and registration (BPOM, Halal, SNI).- Label & Artwork:- Ensure compliance of ingredient lists and substantiate product claims.- Engagement- Internal Engagement:- Keep the business and key internal stakeholders informed about new regulations and developments.- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and inform project teams and senior management of pertinent changes.- Anticipate potential regulatory issues and develop solutions to mitigate their impact.- External Engagement:- Engage with influential third parties such as Regulatory Bodies and Experts.- Represent the Company in Associations/Committees.- Advocate for the interests of the company, particularly on significant issues.- Serve as the main contact for product-related audits, inspections, and other challenges.**Requirements**:- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy, or related field.- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in regulatory affairs within the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in an international setting.- Familiarity with Indonesia's food registration procedures and regulatory landscape.- Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of the F&B industry and the ability to provide advice considering these factors.- Technical Skills: Analytical, project management, problem-solving, presentation, time management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, balancing commercial needs with compliance requirements.- Strategic thinking and innovation in resolving regulatory issues.- Commitment to improving department processes and performance.- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Positive attitude and proactive communication, fostering excellent working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
