**HDF Energy** is a french company dedicated to hydrogen projects. Its central role is developer and IPP to deliver firm and stable power to grids by combining renewable energies to mass hydrogen storage. HDF Energy is present in 7 Asian countries. HDF Energy is present in the Philippines through a local subsidiary and met recently strong milestones through MoUs with NAPOCOR and MinDA.
He/she must structure the project development process, PPAs and cooperation with NPC, NREA, Electric Cooperatives and relevant partners. The position requires frequent travel.
**Scope**:
- Advising HDF on legal and regulatory compliance matters related to the development, finance, and implementation of HDF projects in the Philippines ;
- Supporting Business and Project Developers to define the optimum strategy for HDF projects in the Philippines in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies;
- Representing HDF before relevant regulatory agencies and authorities in the Philippines;
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents required for the establishment and operation of the HDF' projects in the Philippines ;
- Monitoring and analysing changes to laws and regulations related to renewable energy and energy policy in the Philippines;
- Coordination with HDF main office in Asia and HDF HQ.
**Profile**:
- Law or Finance degree;
- Experience for or in DOE ( Department of Energy) Philippines
- Reference with NAPOCOR (National Power Corporation) Philippines
- Backgroung working in Energy industry, private or public sectors
- Reference with NEA National Electrification Administration) Philippines
- Min 10 years of experience in the energy sector with demonstrated expertise in renewable energy, power, purchase agreements, policy, and power system economics;
- Experience with NPC, NREA, ECs, and DFIs / Donor Programs is fundamental ;
- Self-starter focused on delivering results without constant direction;
- Excellent English, written and oral communications skills.
