Job Description Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the institution's vision, mission, and strategic goals.Oversee long-term planning to ensure academic and operational sustainability.Foster innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement.Academic Leadership: Ensure the delivery of high-quality education and research programs.Lead curriculum development and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.Uphold academic standards and oversee the accreditation process.Administrative Oversight: Manage the institution's budget, resources, and infrastructure.Lead and supervise administrative and academic staff to ensure operational efficiency.Develop and implement policies that support institutional growth and compliance.Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary representative of the institution to external stakeholders.Foster relationships with government bodies, industry leaders, alumni, and other partners.Promote the institution's values and achievements locally and globally.Student and Faculty Welfare: Ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for students and staff.Address grievances and implement measures to enhance campus life.Encourage faculty development and recognition of excellence in teaching and research.Governance and Accountability: Report to the board of trustees or governing council on institutional performance.Ensure transparency and accountability in decision-making processes.Uphold ethical standards and foster a culture of integrity and respec Requirement A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant field.Academic qualifications aligned with the institution's focusAt least 1015 years of experience in academia, with a proven record in leadership roles (e.g., Dean, Vice-Rector, or equivalent).Demonstrated expertise in academic administration, policy development, and strategic planning.Ability to inspire and guide diverse teams toward achieving institutional goals.Strategic thinking with a focus on innovation and excellence.Deep understanding of higher education trends, challenges, and opportunitiesCommitment to advancing teaching, research, and community serviceStrong knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and financial managementExperience with infrastructure planning and operational oversight.
