**About the role**:
The Reliability and Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for guiding efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems. Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This broad primary role includes loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management and supporting the Engineering Manager.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Develop Maintenance Master Plan base on maintenance strategy by determining clear timeline, proper job steps, parts required, special tools and skilled labour resources.
- Schedule all technicians a full day's work via a well-coordinated weekly work schedule that has input and support of all affected departments.
- Manage and process incoming work order request and review for proper information and approval.
- Conduct weekly maintenance scheduling meeting to communicate priorities and coordinate equipment access to complete work order in a timely manner.
- Responsible and Requisition needed repair parts, tools, equipment, and contractors as needed for successful job completion and backlog management and maintaining spare part inventory item readiness.
- Manage work order backlog by reviewing status, priority and work order type so the backlog stays active and current.
- Maintain maintenance records to ensure accurate equipment histories for future analysis.
- General reports and KPI's as needed or prescribed by Kerry policy.
- Responsible for determining and ensuring site compliance with all local, national and group codes and regulations.
- Control resource expenditure for labour, direct expense and consumables within the approved budget for the department and provide early indications of any potential variances in order to assist the overall units forecasting.
- Manage site contractors to ensure safe working practices are applied and work is carried out within agrees terms of reference and time scale.
**Qualifications and skills**:
- A degree in mechanical / Electrical or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance manufacturing and process industry preferably from food manufacturing
- Experience in Developing Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Experience in SAP system will be an added advantage
