Global Rental, Services & Marketing (GRSM) currently has an opportunity for an experienced **Rental & Used Operations Representative **to join the Caterpillar team.
**About the Position**:
**The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to)**:
- Performs dealer Rental Excellence Program (REP) assessments and Rapid Improvement Workshop (RIW) in support of closing identified performance gaps. Position performs complex analysis work, identifies, and resolves problems that are more strategic in nature. Challenges include developing and meeting expectations in delivering results, identifying, and recommending alternative courses of actions, and making timely decisions.
- Execution of REP training as needed by Cat dealers and Caterpillar personnel.
- Administration of pay for performance programs for assigned Territory.
- Administration of REP assessment reporting for dealer and Cat personnel for assigned Territory
- Requires business travel (will be at least 25%)
**Required Skill and Experience**:
- This position requires knowledge of rental operations and rental industry best practices.
- A college degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of job-related experience are typically required.
- Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
- Personal computer skills and familiarity with various software packages are required.
- Incumbents will have demonstrated the ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to less experienced team members on project assignments.
