Road Logistics Tender + Pricing Specialist

- ** Your Role **:You will ensure fast + accurate responses to requests for pricing + quotations for all modes from both internal + external customers by obtaining + compiling selling rates for business not covered by existing rate agreements.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- To carry out tender center activities effectively + provide engineering solution support as required.
- To provide accurate pricing responses within the agreed timeframes.
- To manage vendor procurement + competitive rate offerings by regularly reviewing existing quotations +/or re-negotiating with vendors to support business development.
- To collaborate with other countries on door-to-door pricing to create competitive solutions for customers.
- To utilize internal systems for customer proposal submissions.
- To assist with problem solving, providing guidance in relation to pricing + procurement activities.
- To maintain strong relationships with vendors + carriers to support our commercial positions.
- To identify + mitigate risk in vendor relationships, developing + improving our sourcing/pricing models.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Strong negotiation skills + knowledge of domestic logistics including domestic air and ocean
- Ability to build strong vendor relationships
- Ability to converse fluently in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Min 3 years experience in Logistics, preferably in pricing & procurement
- Provide inputs to superior for procurement in buying rates and consolidation opportunities or capacity constraints
- Ability to support superior on strategic initiatives
- To seek insight on customer + related information to ensure the appropriate pricing solutions are offered
- To regularly assess latest market updates/changes to accommodate those in the pricing solutions being offered to customers
- To include alternative pricing options, providing development teams with enough flexibility when engaging with customers
