**Job Description** Sales Executive (Wedding & Social Event)**
Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experiences to guests who stay on your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bonds with your guests.

**What you will be doing**:

- To gain new accounts while maintaining and prospecting established accounts under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales in coordination with the Sales Manager within the limits established by Mercure Serpong Alam Sutera policies & procedures oversee and implement all sales activities in his/her specific area of responsibility.
- Promotes his/her hotel to achieve optimal sales at the best possible conditions to update with the different local markets.
- You are responsible for assisting the Sales Manager, coordinating and implementing all aspects of social and wedding events to ensure successful events.
- Relationship building with all the current and prospective customers.
- Determine effective and productive sales programs.
- Relationship building with all the current and prospective customers
- Upgrade knowledge and awareness of the facilities provided by Mercure Serpong Alam Sutera.
- Assist the Sales Manager in the execution of sales plans and strategies.
- Identify prospects for sales deals within targeted markets of the assigned area /segment and also prepare and conduct sales presentations in coordination with the Sales Manager.
- Professionally conduct routine telemarketing activities to identify new clients for social and wedding events.
- Submit monthly and weekly sales plans and market analyses (monthly) as well as daily sales/activity reports.
- Attends and contributes to all meetings as required.
- Ensure to provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- Handles guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow-up.
- Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

**Qualifications** Your experience and skills include**:

- Degree in public relations, communications, or hospitality.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records.
- Communication and marketing skills.
- Project management experience.
- Good leadership skills.
- Highly Organized.
- Multi-tasker.
- Good time management.
- Proficiency in various event software.
- Expert interpersonal skills.
- Risk management experience.
- Relevant sales experience is an asset.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
