Thales has been established in Indonesia for close to 40 years. Today Thales Indonesia employs 25 people and has successfully provided numerous solutions to Indonesia in both civil and defense sectors. The Group's main business in Indonesia has historically been the defense domain, where Thales is a long-term provider of defense systems for the Indonesian Army and Navy. In these areas Thales has demonstrated a strong commitment to working collaboratively with the Indonesian government and partners with local stakeholders. In recent years there has been an increased interest in the Thales civil solutions especially in the field of transportation and air traffic control. With the growing attention to infrastructure development by the Indonesian government, Thales will have opportunities in the transportation and security domain.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage account strategies to enhance growth and competitive positions
- Promote and Sell Thales DIS BPS offers for products and solutions with the target to grow profitable sales revenue with these accounts
- Prepare commercial proposal following Thales DIS BPS pricing processes, negotiate prices and contracts
- PO fulfilment with support from internal Thales delivery team and finance team to ensure cash collection
- Regular follow up/ handling and delivery coordination with accounts and the CS team to ensure the delivery accuracy
- Take the lead for comprehensive solution offering and identify opportunities to increase revenue and communicate new products and services to the customer where appropriate
- Build relationships and expand network to communicate on offer values and overall business/ industry knowledge
- Set and validate customer strategy based on market needs and technology trends allowing competitive advantage
- Put in place account management practices: contact plan, meeting plan, short-term and long-term strategy understanding, understanding of key decision processes, key stake-holders and key projects where Thales can contribute
- Ensure proper reporting and forecast process (CRM)
- Liaising and coordinating internal resources to match customer expectations and satisfaction
**Requirements**:
- Background in the payment processing industry with min. 5 (five) year experience as account management on payment processing segment, and/or digital payment transaction domain
- An existing knowledge of the payment eco-system and stakeholders in Indonesia is strongly preferred.
- A proven sales track record, with a strong commercial background, able to develop and maintain business and customer relationships in the market
- Have a good understanding of technically complex products/services
- Willingness to be involved in details to ensure customer satisfaction
- Sound commercial knowledge, including oral and written presentation, risk management, legal contracts, price negotiation, strategic sales and marketing planning and other topics, distinct customer understanding and the ability to close complex negotiations
- Fluent in written and spoken English language mandatory
- Honest and has high level of integrity. Several years of experience in working in international companies, preferably experience with European and/or US businesses.
