This role is responsible for leading and managing all sales activities and executing the business plan for Metso's capital business within Indonesia. This is a key strategic growth role within the business and you will be the face of Metso in Indonesia, interacting with both C-suite and site-based customer levels.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Profitable growth of the business and maximisation of the market share in Indonesia.

Managing the assigned customer base and maintaining key customer relationships at CapEx investment project / Senior Plant Operations Management level.

Sales funnel management and prioritisation of sales cases.

Assemble bid teams, as well as generating and maintaining sales plans.

Generating leads for CapEx and Services business.

Collaborating with the all Business LInes to ensure business development and growth is maximised.

Supporting sales cases for other Business LInes, as required.

Maintain current knowledge of competitor activities.

Follow up on previously won cases to ensure there are no discernible issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate channels, as required.

Providing input into the strategic direction, relevant to Metso's capital product range.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Experience (circa 6+ years) working in the mining industry, in a technical capacity.

Degree qualification preferred, ideally in chemical enginering or metallurgy.

Strong technical understanding of the capital product range, relevant to Metso's offering.

Proven success in developing sales opportunities, closing deals and exceeding set budgets.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Customer-focused mindset

Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to win deals.

Understanding of the Services business.

Ability to work effectively with others in an international, multi-cultural matrix organisation.

Ability to travel regularly, as required.
