**Responsibilities**
- Researching and staying up-to-date on the Digital SAT math content outline and testing format.
- Developing engaging and effective learning materials: This includes creating practice problems, explanations, and strategies that cater to different learning styles and effectively address the Digital SAT math concepts.
- Ensuring alignment with relevant educational standards: The curriculum should be aligned with relevant math standards, such as Common Core State Standards, to ensure a strong foundation for students.
- Maintaining consistency and logical progression: The curriculum should be structured in a way that builds upon prior knowledge and gradually increases in difficulty, fostering a clear learning path for students.
- Working with graphic designers, instructional designers, or other specialists to create visually appealing and engaging learning materials.
- Carefully reviewing and editing all created materials to ensure they are free of errors, well-explained, and easy for students to understand.
- Developing practice tests that accurately reflect the difficulty, format, and question types encountered on the actual Digital SAT math section.
- Reviewing student results from practice tests and other assessments to identify areas of weakness and adjust the curriculum accordingly.
- Continuously monitoring changes in the Digital SAT math section and adapting the curriculum as needed to ensure its effectiveness in preparing students for the latest test format.
**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in education, mathematics education, or a similar field
- Prior experience in developing curriculum materials, especially for standardized tests, is preferred.
- Having experience teaching high school mathematics can be a valuable asset.
- A deep understanding of the mathematical concepts tested on the SAT is essential.
- Able to create clear, concise, and engaging written materials for various audiences is crucial.
- Knowledge of curriculum design principles, instructional strategies, and assessment methods is necessary.
- Familiarity with various learning management systems, online learning platforms, and educational technology tools is often beneficial.
