Our Surabaya, Indonesia branch is looking for a new Sales Representative to join their Sea Logistics team.
- ** Your Role **:You will focus on developing + diversifying business in line with financial + volume targets.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:
- To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
- To align your sales efforts with Customer Care Location (CCL) Managers, Pricing + Sea Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.
- To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
- To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
- To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
- To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
- To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers + team.
- To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the CCL.
- Create new business opportunities, conduct presentations about our main Sea Logistics products
- Prepare quotations using our online tools and submit our proposals to the customers, close customer deals
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- 2+ years' experience in freight forwarding / sea logistics / transportation industry required
- 2+ years field sales experience required with both Account Management and Development
- Summarize customer requirements to develop solutions
- Has customer pipeline in Surabaya city (i.e. Gresik, Mojokerto, Pasuruan, Sidoarjo etc)
- Ability to converse fluently in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Strong focus on customer + stakeholder relationships and time management skills
- Top notch communication and presentation skill
- Poses hunting spirit and are eager to go above and beyond for fair rewards and professional achievement
- Have creative approach in regards of communication, connection and collaboration
- Able to connect with customers as people and are ready to work together to do that with the Customer Care Team
