Senior Associate, Development Engineering Packaging

As the Senior Associate, Development Engineer Packaging, executing global commercialization projects for the Asia Region and assist in developing key special pack programs. This position has local and regional responsibilities.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Issue packaging component specifications and product recipes. Specify pallet patterns, perform and decide on packaging/component tests (like Static storage test; fiber tire test; etc.)- Support to Global Research Development & Engineering (RD&E) for primary pack development and qualification in accordance with Global needs, compatibility testing, preparation, and decision together with relevant engineer- Qualify developed methods/instructions in Manufacturing by attending the execution of required trials and support Manufacturing in Production Line Qualifications (PLQ)- Support remote/local SC Johnson (SCJ) manufacturing sites and/or contractors and issue/support packaging recipes when the change is not affecting performance- Evaluates and approve packaging materials (including 2nd sources) localizing the RD&E Product Chain Management (PCM) requirements to local/regional needs- Coordinate for production of required products and samples for Marketing/Trade and compatibility testing and evaluate on new contractors' ability to produce the products up to SCJ standards**Required** Skills / Experience / Competencies**:- Bachelor's in Industrial Chemical Engineering OR Chemistry- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in related field**Inclusion & Diversity**We're a global business, with people from every culture, ethnicity, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age and ability.
