Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.Project Delivery- Plan, execute, and monitor environmental projects related to contaminated land assessment, remediation, and ESIA, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project objectives.- Establish project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, and oversee their successful completion within budget and specified timeframes.- Implement effective project management methodologies to optimize project performance and meet quality standards.- Address any project risks or issues that may arise, and proactively devise solutions to keep projects on track.Winning Work & Client Relationships- Collaborate with business development teams to identify potential project opportunities and prepare winning proposals.- Engage with clients to understand their environmental needs and offer tailored solutions.- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business and obtain client feedback for continuous improvement.Financial management- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, revenues, and profitability.- Ensure accurate financial reporting and billing, and manage project finances efficiently.Manage the Team- Inspire and guide the project team to achieve project goals and maintain a positive team dynamic.- Foster open communication and collaboration within the team to optimize productivity.- Lead, mentor, and motivate the project team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that team members have a clear understanding of their roles and are working cohesively towards project goals.- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.Reporting:- Prepare comprehensive project progress reports for clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and key performance indicators.- Ensure that project documentation is accurate, organized, and up-to-date.Stakeholder Communication:- Engage and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, local communities, and other relevant parties.- Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, address concerns, and maintain a positive relationship with all parties involved.General Management- Implement best practices and industry standards for environmental project management, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.- Stay informed about advancements in environmental technologies, regulations, and methodologies.- Provide input into Unit or office business planning, as requested.- Demonstrate safety leadership in all aspects of Aurecon's business.- Oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols to protect the well-being of the team and stakeholders involved in the Aurecon projects.- Responsible for the compliance to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and act as a role model for Aurecon's values and behaviours.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):- Prioritize health, safety, and environmental protection throughout the project lifecycle.- Ensure that all team members adhere to HSE protocols, and conduct regular risk assessments.- Provide safety leadership to the team and actively promote a culture of safety.Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC):- Implement rigorous QA/QC processes to maintain the quality of project deliverables.- Review and approve project documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.What can you bring to the team?Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.
