- Play an integral role in delivering consulting services to client companies. Areas of project focus will include environmental and social strategy and program development and implementation, and sustainability reporting.
- Consulting experience and/or proven ability to perform the key functions of a consultant, including developing and maintaining client relationships; pursuing and creating business opportunities; and managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines with little oversight.
- Build on client relationships and internal networks, conduct marketing activities, and project sales.
- Lead environmental and social impact assessment and planning studies and reports
- Lead environmental and social surveys, field evaluations and assessments
- Coordinate in collecting a variety of data and prepares reports, maps and analysis on environmental and social topics
- Utilize basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope
- Interpret and record data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local and state and international regulations and standards to ensure compliance
- Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy
**Key requirements**:
- Master's degree in social science or related discipline.
- 7 years' experience in relevant position.
- Knowledge on international safeguard standard such as IFC PS, World bank ESF, ADB SPS
- Knowledge in Indonesia environmental and social regulations
- Experiences in conducting environmental and social due diligence, ESIA study, human rights impact assessment, land acquisition and resettlement plan, indigenous people plan
- Experiences in facilitating the workshop, public consultation and meeting
- Demonstrated research, writing, verbal and organization skills.
- Sound computer skills and abilities in Microsoft Office. Skills in one or more specialized software packages (e.g., ArcGIS, Delft3D, MUSIC, Marxan) preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken Indonesia and English
