**The Role**
As the FC, you will be the cornerstone of WPT Global's financial operations and strategy. You will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, and financial reporting. This role is not just about crunching numbers; it's about building a robust financial function and team that will support the company's rapid growth and strategic objectives.
**Your Responsibilities**

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions
- Evaluate and manage financial and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the board and senior management team
- Drive the company's financial planning and performance measures, including key performance indicators (KPIs)
**What You Bring to the Table**

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a senior financial managerial position
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and data analysis tools
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the iGaming/gambling industry
