Senior Government Affairs And Business Development

**Description**:
Defines and ensures the implementation of function related strategies and guidelines for company and represents company's interest towards political stakeholders sets Government Affairs strategy and guidelines and ensures implementation in own area of responsibility.

**Scope of responsibilities**:

- Defines and ensures the implementation of function related strategies, policies and guidelines, and/or defines operational activities enabling the exploitation of (vertical and product) markets; in line with the overall business strategy of the assigned organizational unit.
- Drives and monitors key business development programs.
- Supports with the assigned organization an effective sales setup capitalizing synergies in collaboration within and across Siemens units (i.e. aligned setups, aligned processes, aligned incentives etc.).
- Supports effectiveness of sales organizations via strategic initiatives / projects.
- Represents company's interests with government officials and industry associations representatives and other relevant stakeholders and act as a trusted partner.
- Builds and maintain a strong network with relevant decision makers and political influencers.
- Drives key initiatives and communication embedded in the overall Corporate Communications strategy and ensures implementation in own area of responsibility.
- Monitors relevant legislation and proposes and/or implement communication activities towards political stakeholders.
- May liaise with authorities and local legislative and executive branch officials advising them of company concerns.
- Evolves and maintains personal contacts to the major stakeholders in the decision process.
