We currently have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding **Lawyer** to join our Asia team in Jakarta, Indonesia and become a key member of the international Legal & Compliance community at Siemens Energy.

- Lead all legal matters/risks and contracts of Indonesia (except tax issues) with a special focus on project business and claim management.
- Take initiative and contribute proactively to master business challenges by thinking entrepreneurially (balancing governance and business needs).
- Be the trusted advisor to regional and local management and the Business Areas on legal aspects.
- Maintain and further improve the best in class Legal department.
- Cultivate an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and "speak up".
- Collaborate closely with the global legal community.

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor's Degree in Law and Legal qualification in Indonesia
- Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience and legal experience in Indonesia
- Deep knowledge of **commercial **and** contract law** and **international contrac**t practice.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully managing legal risks in complex environments and of being a trusted advisor to management.
- Broad understanding of different business models, market approaches, and business processes.
- Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.
- A passion to enable business transactions and to inspire change.
- Capability to lead multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills are coupled with intercultural sensitivity and competence.
- Excellent language skills in verbal and written English.
