**Objectives of the Position**:
- Lead and supervise all activities under GBR (Finance Services) scope that covers: Accounting, Tax, Purchase to Pay (PTP) and Order to Cash (OTC) to ensure corporate and divisional objectives are met.
- Act As main contact for external Authority in the scope of Finance and Accounting such as Tax Office and External Auditor.
- Ensure Financial Statements are fulfilling Local GAAP and IFRS.
- Lead the process to eliminate potential Compliance by defining Internal process, drive the implementation and ensure the processes are effectively and efficiently maintained.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and pro-actively provide solution to ensure High Performance Organization.
- People Management which covers Performance Management, Talent Management and Succession Planning.
**Main Responsibilities and Key Activities**:
- ** Accounting and Tax**
- Lead the process of External Audit for Financial Statements and finish timely as per dateline stated on the Companies Act.
- Provide transparency on Financial Report related source data and ensure correctness.
- Proactively take the corrective and preventive measures for any deviations finding on operational book-to-report.
- Ensure all Tax Reporting comply with Local Tax Regulation and correct.
- Lead the process of Tax Planning and Tax Refund of VAT.
- Ensure dispute Tax Cases handle properly in timely manner and take corrective measures to minimize dispute.
- Ensure good collaboration with GB-Hub, maintained appropriate escalation process, proactively provide solution for dispute cases for corrective measures and initiate continues process improvement.
- ** Finance Operations - Purchase To Pay (PTP) and Order To Cash (OTC)**
- Manage and optimize Country's PTP & OTC processes to ensure accuracy, sufficient control process and effective.
- Developing P2P policies and procedures to comply with applied regulations.
- Define SLA and KPIs for PTP and OTC to have efficient business process, enhance customer satisfaction & supplier relationship, and optimized cashflow management.
- Ensure all transactions and activities related to cash management are comply with Central Bank Regulations, Tax and Any related Local Law.
- ** Internal Control System**
- Ensure the effective internal control system in place to abide by financial reporting compliance and to prevent fraud.
- Ensure to complete BASF FRC activities including CEQ and annual sign-off up to level 1 sign-off performer (MD).
- Analysis of any ICS related audit recommendations (internal, external and Financial Reporting Compliance) and definition of any necessary improvements ensuring an effective remediation.***
- **Strategic Planning**
- Develop strategic partnerships with OD/BU and conduct regular dialogues with service recipients.
- Manage relation with 3rd party service provider with respect to Company Code of Conduct.
- Become GB ambassador for "One GB" - no barrier Country and Hub services.
- Ensure and manage fulfilment of Delegation of Duties task from MD.
- Maintain high level of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables via proper role segregation within team and performance management.
- Lead the process transformation to digitalization and reduce manual work.
- ** Leadership**
- Provide guidance and share expertise to GB team member including GB Service Hub.
- Implement continues improvement mindset.
- Manage Talent and People development based on Divisional Target.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor to master's degree in finance & Accounting, Business or related field.
- CPA/CTA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in General Accounting & Reporting, Finance and Tax or other related accounting functions in Multinational company including minimum 5 years' experience at leading position.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate clearly and accurately.
- Good interpersonal skills in dealing with people at all levels in the company & other BASF group of companies.
- Good supervisory skills, decision-making ability, effective communication, time management ability and stress management ability.
- Ability to analyse figures on broad perspective and in detail.
- Computer literate in MS office, PBI and SAP system.
- Good communications skills and a conscientious approach.
- Excellent proficiency in English and Indonesia.
