Senior Manager Port Management (Shipping)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on shipping. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in port management for the job of Senior Manager Port Management - Shipping. The job is based in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of our logistics operations export and import processes. Supervise the implementation of loading and unloading operational activities and provide technical directions to operators to overcome problems and follow up. Coordinate with the harbormaster to exchange information (such as permission for ships to dock and sail) so that port activities can run smoothly. Identify potential damage/hazards during the operational process and handle them according to established procedures, including coordinating with maintenance parties for equipment problems. Lead emergency response actions in a critical condition that endangers the company's operations. Play a critical role in optimizing port and operation management Job Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Nautical or Technical, or related field Minimum 10 years combined experience in Stockpiling, Loading Management, Port Administration, Berthing, Safety & Environment Management, ISM & ISPS code implementation and Port operation Strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skill Certified ANT II/ATT II Possess leadership to head the team Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team, and also across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization) Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence Team player, positive attitude, hands-on and high flexibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
