**What you'll do**:
- This position will be responsible for Indonesia tax compliance and other tax matters, including all Eaton Indonesian entities tax compliance reviews, managing outside tax audits, and providing daily ad-hoc tax support to the region, provide support to Indonesia operation teams in relation to Indonesia tax matters.
- This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing tax reports, assisting with tax planning, and maintaining strong relationships with tax authorities. The Tax Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective tax management and optimize tax strategies within the Indonesian regulatory framework.
- Your essential responsibilities:
- This position will help tax manager to manage all tax matters including tax compliance and planning for Indonesia, including but not limited to:
- **Tax Compliance**:
- Assist in preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other applicable taxes.
- Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements in Indonesia and ensure compliance with them.
- Maintain proper records, documentation, and support for tax filings.
- Tax Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the tax department to develop tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Analyze financial data and conduct tax research to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.
- Assist in implementing tax planning initiatives while considering tax risks and compliance requirements.
- Tax Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for tax-related financial data.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax liabilities, tax provisions, and tax-related financial information.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for tax-related financial discrepancies.- **Tax Audits and Disputes**:
- Assist in managing tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Gather and provide requested documentation, information, and support during tax audits.
- Help in resolving tax disputes and responding to tax-related notices and assessments.
- Internal Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other relevant departments to gather necessary information for tax compliance and reporting.
- Provide tax-related guidance and support to internal stakeholders on transactions, contracts, and business initiatives.
- Conduct internal trainings and workshops to enhance tax awareness and knowledge within the organization.- **Relationship Management**:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tax authorities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay updated on tax authority guidelines, regulations, and interpretations to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks.
- Proactively engage with tax authorities to seek clarifications, resolve issues, and build strong working relationships.
- Tax Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Tax or Finance
- 5 years of experience in Tax
- Good interpersonal skills
