We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer at Flip. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible to participate in test planning, designing, and estimation, identifying defects in software, helping in defining automation approach for testing, and also collaborating with the team in mentoring and training team members for automation.

- Participation in Test planning, designing, and estimation.
- Review of the test case.
- Help Junior Test Engineer by providing mentorship or code review.
- Understand and able to set up an automation test environment for all platform
- Be able to analyze the worthy test scenario to automate.
- Identify defects in software, report them and track them until they are satisfactorily fixed
- Helps in defining automation approach for testing
- Supports test managers in fulfilling strategic goals by providing technical support and help in terms of automation.
- Identifies effective technologies and tools aligned with what is already in use.
- Helps and designs test automation framework based on past experience and demand of the current project.
- Monitors enhance and improve automation activities as per the demand of the project.
- Collaborates with the team in mentoring and training team members for automation.
**Requirements**:
- Understand priorities. Be able to prioritize things like what should be tested first, which test cases to be automated/manual, which bug fix should be verified, and which one can be delayed for some time.
- Determine bugs. Able to identify more critical bugs and report them with complete details.
- Testing ideas. Able to generate a number of ideas to test the product differently, to cover every aspect of the product.
- Effective bug reporting. Able to report the bug effectively. All the needed information like steps to reproduce, details of the test environment, test data used, relevant screenshots and video, build version, etc. helps in fixing bugs faster.
- Experience in creating a test automation framework, using the latest and relevant tools.
- Knowledge of different technologies and approaches to automation.
- Deep understanding of which test cases should be selected for automation.
- Strong technical leadership abilities.
- Mastering problem-solving skills.
- Able to set up a pipeline for the testing process.
- Be able to manage resources and delegate tasks.
