We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role **Senior Vice President IT Country Cloud Lead.**
**In this role you will responsible for**:
- Leadership face of Cloud Services within the country, acting as the primary interface between regulators, CIO, GB/GF teams and Cloud Services regionally and globally.
- Leads the adoption and reinforces standards, patterns and tooling across the country.
- Accountable to the market CIO and Regional Head of Cloud Services. Country escalation point for all Cloud Services matters.
Strategy:
- Develops and leads the market Cloud strategy, to provide a commercially and technically viable roadmap for moving existing on premise country systems into the Cloud.
- Champions the adoption and reinforces standards, patterns and tooling in the market.
- Ensures that market specific requirements are raised and reflected in the global Cloud strategy (e.g. local CSP regions, local CSPs).
Governance:
- Accountable for Cloud governance in country, in line with the agreed governance model.
- Ensures that appropriate and timely engagement with stakeholders and governance committees takes place for all global Cloud deployments for the market.
- Ensures that the country inventory of all existing Cloud deployments (IaaS/PaaS and SaaS), as well as a pipeline of future deployments is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Facilities appropriate country outsourcing governance for Cloud as necessary. Escalates issues and risks to Cloud Services leadership.
- Streamlines current processes to enable more efficient deployment to Cloud for the market.
- Represent Cloud Services in Country IT EXCO to understand business aspirations and challenges with respect to Cloud adoption.
Regulators:
- Helps lead the regulatory engagement in country for Cloud, working closely with the Regional Head of Cloud Services.
- Responsible for providing timely responses to draft regulations, ensuring optimal regulations for adoption of Cloud in country.
- Leads the change from traditional outsourcing to platform-based outsourcing for HSBC Cloud deployments.
Cloud Services:
- Be the local engagement point in country to provide seamless and easy access to Cloud services and accounts, as well as to facilitate best option decisions.
- Coordinate the various global deployments to Cloud for each country as necessary.
- Work directly with GB/GFs in order-book development to provide a country lens and opportunities to share and re-use capabilities.
- Provide operational support and build operational capability for all IT services hosted on Cloud locally.
Technology Capability:
- Lead the building of Cloud Services practice within the country, across all dimensions, including People, Process and Tools to ensure sustainable operations.
- Help lead the Cloud community in the market to drive up skills, engagement and execution of HSBC cloud strategy.
Qualifications
**Job Requirements**:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with major in Computer Science or related field.
- Qualification in related business discipline is an advantage.
- A strong level of technical expertise.
- Self-driven, strong Leadership, Problem Solving, Communication, and Interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding on IT Project Management, Modern Architecture, General IT Management and Control
- The ability to adapt and evolve quickly to technology, business, and organizational trends.
