**About the Role**
As a Partner Services Delivery Technician specializing in data migration, you will play a critical role in facilitating the seamless transition of client data from their existing backup vendor to Dropsuite, a leading cloud-based data protection platform. **What will you be doing**
**Partner Engagement**:
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Account Management (TAM) organization to understand the unique data migration requirements. Provide expert guidance and support to the organization throughout the migration process, ensuring a positive experience externally.
**Data Analysis and Planning**:
- Review the comprehensive analysis of client data, identifying structures, dependencies, and potential challenges. Build detailed migration schedules in collaboration with TAMs, outlining key milestones and timelines.
**Execution and Oversight**:
- Execute data migration tasks with precision, adhering to established plans and industry best practices. Monitor migration progress, promptly addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the process.
**Quality Assurance**:
- Conduct thorough testing of migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Collaborate with TAMs to validate the success of the migration and address any concerns or discrepancies from our partners.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, configurations, and results.
**Technical Support**:
- Provide advanced technical support during the migration process, addressing technical inquiries and troubleshooting issues. Escalate and coordinate with Dropsuite's leadership teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably in large opportunities.
- Strong understanding of data structures, databases, and backup systems.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Dropsuite or similar cloud-based backup solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, AWS) is a plus.
