Persyaratan
Associate's degree in aviation technology or related field

5+ years experience as a sheet metal mechanic, with at least 2 years on aircraft

Experience working on commercial or military aircraft

Certification from the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR)

Installing structural fittings such as bulkheads, formers, stringers, ribs, frames, and other components
Installing insulation materials such as fiberglass or polyurethane using hand or power tools
Repairing dents, cracks, or other damage to the aircraft's skin using hammer, dolly, or other hand tools
Repairing holes in aircraft skins using patch materials such as aluminum or steel sheets, or plastic materials such as fiberglass cloth or synthetic resin materials such as polyester or epoxy
Installing, repairing, and replacing aircraft skins, structural components, and interior furnishings such as insulation, carpeting, vinyl flooring, soundproofing materials, seats, paneling, and paint
Installing interior and exterior trim such as windows, doors, bulkheads, wall panels, ceilings, flooring, and staircases
Repairing or replacing damaged control surfaces such as flaps, ailerons, rudders, elevators, or stabilizers using hand tools such as files, grinders, or sanders
