Technical Specification - Site Engineer / Agreement Manager
Role overview The Valmet Agreement Manager is the person responsible for establishment, defining and carrying out the execution plan, and working with your team to ensure that all obligations are met. They are the key contact between you and us, tasked with building our relationship and act as technical one-point contact: they will manage the project, be fully aware of the situation your mill, possible changes, requests, and any enquiries.
We always appoint Agreement Managers who have sufficient knowledge to benchmark against best practices and develop suitable solutions to your needs. Moreover, they are supported by technology experts with a deep knowledge of the process.
Typical responsibilities Strategy:
- Developing ways to create value for you and your business
- Collaborating with you to create further development actions
- Technical partnership Operations
- Agreed presence on-site. (5d/w, 8h/d excluding holidays: company regulation, Valmet Indonesia)
- Managing operations: o target setting, action plans and implementation for this agreement o optimizing assets tied to the agreement (such as inventories) and allocating resources o determining, finding, and deploying the needed Valmet technology and process experts o expert service task coordination and follow-up, including operator competence development
- Monitoring safety and HSE activities
- Ensuring the quality of the results
- Do planning for on time service intervals of rolls in the contract
- Ensuring data integrity & completeness in asset management system
- Inspection - shutdown and running. Eg oil leak checks, etc - Roll shutdown inspection activities - reporting on the result

- First contact person for customer / Valmet on Roll topic Governance and reporting
- Participating in steering group and/or development team meetings with o reporting o KPI review and follow-up o development follow-up, actions and decisions for further years
- Reporting progress, KPIs (either process, operations, or maintenance related), and targets at agreed intervals
- Recording agreement-related decisions
- Participating in the agreement renewal strategy planning and implementation
