The AccelByte Game SDK empowers our customers to access AccelByte Gaming Services. Having a solid pipeline that lets our developers package, test, and deliver quickly and predictably is important to us. We're looking for a passionate Site Reliability Engineer II (Tools & Pipeline) to join the Game SDK team and supercharge this effort.
On Game SDK, you'll be challenged to improve and extend our release pipeline, CI/CD infrastructure, automation, and tooling. As well as working closely with fellow Site Reliability Engineer II (Tools & Pipeline), you can expect to be popular with SDK and Test engineers as they seek your support and experience.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Site Reliability Engineer II (Tools & Pipeline) is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the automation release process
- Identify and propagate best release practices and processes
- Responsible for multiple infrastructure environments
- Maintaining the CI/CD and building release pipelines
- Discover requirements by working with engineering leads, production managers, and stakeholders
- Meet requirements for engineering excellence
- Perform any other duties as required
**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- A desire to create easy-to-use automated workflows that other developers and non-developers can use
- A relentless focus on improving and refining our entire build and release workflow
- At least 1 year of relevant professional software development experience
- Experience with Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or similar
- Experience with CMake, make files, or other similar build tools
- Good knowledge of Git, including branching and merging strategies
- Proficiency in written and verbal English language to succeed in a remote work environment
- Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and expectations of customers
- Experience using Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable
- Experience with UE4 plugins is a plus point
- Experience with slack apps and webhooks for tool integrations is preferred
- Professional game development experience is a big plus
- Working knowledge of C++/C# is a plus point
- Previous professional infrastructure or operational experience of any kind preferred
- Experience at a AAA game studio or a software product company preferred
- Experience working with cloud platforms or web products preferred
- Experience working in a multinational technology startup is a big plus
