We are looking for Site Reliability Engineer - Mail Server specialized in managing Postfix mail servers to work on the Dropsuite data backup and recovery product. You will be a part of a global team of product engineers delivering a SaaS platform.
The role is focused on overseeing our postfix mail server s in our production environment. This is a part of our best-selling product - Archiver.
You will work very closely with many of our amazing Sire reliability engineers, NOC and Software Engineers and Leads to deliver quality product features, provide fixes and support improvements to the in-market product.
**Work Arrangement**
- Full-time position
- Hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office)
- Monday to Friday, 5-day work week (flexible work schedule) Eligible to reside and work in Bandung (Indonesian citizenship only)
**Key Accountabilities**
- Administering, managing and tuning the mail service in Postfix and hosted Exchange Server: The Mail Administrator will have a strong knowledge of Postfix and will be responsible for building the service from scratch and performing regular maintenance
- Managing escalations coming from internal alerting system, and from ticketing system
- Ensuring network and internet security: The Mail Administrator will have a comprehensive understanding of network and internet security principles and will ensure the security of the mail server Working together with the global team to drive new initiatives, enhance the system and address challenges
**Qualifications **and **Competencies**
- Strong knowledg e of Pos tfix, with experience in constructing the service from scratch and conducting routine upkeep
- Experience in the installation and regular maintenance of a hosted Microsoft Exchange Server
- Ability to work with Linux/UNIX-like systems
- A comprehensive understanding of principles of network and internet security
- The ability to interpret Ruby code
- Experience in creating shell scripts
- Familiarity with AWS, particularly in the management of DNS/Route53
- Good interpersonal skills, oral and written skills, with the ability to present ideas Able to express and explain new initiatives along with status updates
