JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.
- Design lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
- Continuously review and adjust lesson plans based on student progress and curriculum requirements.
- Participate in curriculum improvement and departmental planning.
- Design and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
- Offer additional support to students who require extra help with mathematics.
- Encourage student participation and engagement through individual and group activities.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Attend workshops, training, and other professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching strategies and improve the learning environment
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement and enforce school policies and procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENT
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Studies, Economics, Geography, Sociology, History, or a related field.
-Experienced in teaching in English, both spoken and written.
-Preferred minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at a school that implements the Cambridge curriculum.
-Strong teaching skills, with the ability to deliver content in a way that engages and inspires students.
-Experienced in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
-Willing and ready to grow and develop with the institution.
